While Microsoft Flight Simulator definitely redefined how we think of weather simulation during our desk flights, there’s always room for improvement and added detail. The killer feature of Weather Force is their integration with METAR weather information, which is the standard almost all pilots use in guiding their flights in real life scenarios. Upon this, REX have also introduced dynamicity to the weather of Microsoft Flight Simulator, meaning that even if you chose a “cloudy skies” preset, this weather will evolve over time dynamically, just like real life - whereas in “vanilla” Microsoft Flight Simulator, “cloudy skies” means cloudy skies and there’s little allowance for the weather to deviate naturally from this chosen preset.
Honestly, weather is a key pillar of aviation - it determines when we can, and when we cannot fly, as well as how we fly. For those who want added fidelity in Microsoft Flight Simulator, and appreciate weathers importance, this is a really valuable plugin to own.
